North Chamber of Commerce joins Cash America Pawn at a grand opening event and giveaways.

(San Antonio) – Cash America Pawn and the North Chamber of Commerce are celebrating a grand opening event at the new location with food, fun and prizes.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 22 and 23 at the new store’s location, 3119 Thousand Oaks Drive.
Chamber members will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
The celebration features free food and drinks, fun games for children and adults with great prizes and Cash America goodie bags. The store will also hold a drawing for an Apple iPod, ladies jewelry and a 32-inch flat-screen TV.
A tent sale will feature quality merchandise at up to 40 percent off of already low prices. Radio station KSMG 105.3 will be on hand Friday from 4-6 p.m.
The store is located in the north/central part of the city and serves a mostly Hispanic neighborhood. San Antonio is the second biggest city in the state and is exceeded in growth only by Austin and Fort Worth among the biggest cities in Texas, accordint othe 2010 Census.

Market Manager Michael DeLeon said the event is a fun way for the store to reach out to the community where the coworkers live and work.
“We want the community to know we’re here to help them with their financial needs,” he said.
