The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando welcomes new business, new jobs to community

(Kissimmee, FL) – The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando joins Cash America Pawn to celebrate the businesses’ expansion in the Kissimmee community.

The grand opening event will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, August 5 and 6, at the new store, 1501 East Osceola Parkway in Kissimmee.

Chamber President Diana Bolivar will be on hand to cut the ribbon and greet residents at 11 a.m. Friday.

The 8,000 square-foot store creates six new jobs filled with people who live in the area: one manager, one assistant manager and four customer service representatives. As the county seat, Kissimmee has a population of about 48,000, which presents an ideal opportunity for Cash America to help more residents and promote safety in the community. The new location is third Cash America in Kissimmee.

Market Manager Ivan Cardenas said the event is a welcoming way for the store to reach out to the community.

‘We want the community to know we’re here to help them with their financial needs,” he said.

The family-friendly event will feature face painting, a clown, Cash America goodie bags, and food. From noon until 4 each day, the store will also have free snow cones to help patrons beat the heat.

Local Spanish radio station 100.3 FM will be on hand on from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.

The store will conduct drawings to give away a 52-inch Sony TV, an Apple I pad and diamond earrings. The store will also have up to 40 percent off already low prices on tools, jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, DVDs and more!
